Quick Prick Acupuncture was started by two sisters who wanted to better their community through health services and make it AFFORDABLE.
Kemper Rogers is a nationally board certified and state licensed acupuncturist, who struggles with gastroparesis; an illness that has no cure and renders your stomach paralyzed. She tried everything for years with no result, all while attending Midway College to pursue a career as a doctor. As a last ditch effort, she tried acupuncture and it changed her life in more ways than one! She found something that relieved her pain, improved her digestion, and offered relief for the first time. She decided her avenue for making the world a better place was to become an acupuncturist. She graduated from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH with a Masters degree in Acupuncture, during which she was able to study in Beijing. Now back in school, she is studying Chinese herbal medicine and will graduate in August of 2023. Kemper believes that the body is made to heal itself. She felt called to come to her home community of Lawrenceburg, KY and provide education about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Alyssa Rogers went to school at Kentucky State for a degree in mathematics, and after watching her sister's journey she knew the only option was to open a practice and let her do what she does best.
We are just two women who believe in affordable healthcare that WORKS! Together, we will spread health and positivity in our community that we love so much!
