Quick Prick Acupuncture was started in 2020 by two sisters who wanted to better their community through health services and make it AFFORDABLE.
Kemper Rogers is a nationally board certified and state licensed acupuncturist, who struggles with gastroparesis; an illness that has no cure and renders your stomach paralyzed. She tried everything for years with no result, all while attending Midway College to pursue a career as a doctor. As a last ditch effort, she tried acupuncture and it changed her life in more ways than one! She found something that relieved her pain, improved her digestion, and offered relief for the first time. She decided her avenue for making the world a better place was to become an acupuncturist.
In December 2019, Kemper graduated from The American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH with a Masters degree in Acupuncture, during which she was able to study in Beijing. In 2021, Kemper went back to school to study Chinese herbal medicine in Asheville, NC. She graduated with an herbal degree from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in August 2023.
Kemper believes that the body is made to heal itself. She felt called to come to her home community of Lawrenceburg, KY and provide education about acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Together, we will spread health and positivity in our community that we love so much!
